Solution On the first online backup after a file is deleted from your computer BackupRight moves the file from your current backup to the 'Retention Area' in your account.

The file is stored in the 'Retention Area' based on the number of days configured in Backup Set's 'Retention Policy' setting. After the number of days in the 'Retention Policy' has lapsed the file will be deleted from the online backup.
